Join Stan Hanel as he teaches you how to Build a variable frequency tone generator while learning basic electronic prototyping and soldering techniques at the same time.

The class will focus on practical hands-on skills. Each participant will be given a kit, and will walk away with a new self-made gadget.

Join Richard Furniss in this hands on class using MIG Welding equipment where you will learn welding steel with a MIG type welder to create your own metal art sculpture.

STUDENTS WILL NEED TO ENSURE THEY COME PROPERLY ATTIRED FOR SAFETY:
This means cotton clothing, full cover of arms and legs, sun glasses and no open-toed shoes. Failure to do so could mean you get turned away from the class or injured.

Join Richard Furniss in this hands on class using oxy/acetylene equipment where you will be brazing and welding steel with oxy/acetylene to create your own metal art sculpture.

This is a free form Meetup. Come talk about getting into the multi rotor hobby. Come share your veteran tips or come build that kit you have that has been gathering dust. You will be surrounded by other enthusiast in the hobby.

A Crypto party is a gathering to learn and discuss computer Cryptographic tools, privacy, first amendment rights, and responsible legal methods of using these tools.  This is an  "Explain it like I'm 5 years old" (ELI5) level course.

A Crypto party is a gathering to learn and discuss computer Cryptographic tools, privacy, first amendment rights, and responsible legal methods of using these tools.  This is an  "Explain it like I'm 5 years old" (ELI5) level course. 

This is SYN Shop's 1st Crypto Party.  As such, we will go over "absolute beginners" topics. And the installation and use of a free open source encryption software called "Cipher Shed"

This class will guide students through the setup and use of the Shopbot. We will start from where the CAM setup class finishes with the Shopbot cut file prepared and after I explain and demonstrate the process each student will individually go through setting up the machine, load the file, change tools and make their own Synshop sign.

This introductory class will cover the following:

Shopbot operation: job setup, fixtures, tools, safety, cleanup

Job set up: coordinate reference, CNC principles, hot key shortcuts
